Sometimes, though, it seems a little too detailed on points of little or no significance (but that is just my opinion) ... a very minute detail-oriented student would certainly appreciate this resource. I used the Genesis commentary, as well as a bit of the Exodus one, in teaching a Sunday School class over the year. I preferred the Genesis commentary here over a second one I had purchased as a single volume on Genesis, finding this to be more helpful and fair to the text an at the same time being more concise.
