I was sceptical at first because of the price and when I received it I was awe struck. You won't be disappointed. A classic book that your child will love. My daughter was just all over this book and you could not get it out of her hands for the next week! The details in the book were great and the kids had a lot of fun reading the story. The book is large enough that you can sit in a chair and the kids can sit in front of you and read it. Rating:  - Ugly picturesI take my 2-year-old son to the library every week and anxiously search out the old classics, and the story "The Little Engine that Could" was always one of my favorites, but I was shocked! The pictures were SO UGLY! Then when I examined the inside cover, I saw that there were completely new pictures. WHY?? The old pictures were so charming! I was delighted to find be able to purchase the edition with the original, charming pictures. Skip this edition and get the "real" one! Rating: - WowGot this book as a gift for someone. Purchased when price dropped to $15.00 Wow what a deal. Total quality book. Would recommend. Wish I had bought more. |
