I loved this book because it was my goto book for question's that I have and advice on how to care for the newborn and up. Rating: - Good reference book, but a little datedWhen people say that "Children don't come with an instruction manual" they obviously have never read this bad boy. TONS of useful information for parents and their child's first year. One or two bits of information in the book seem a bit dated, and it may be time to revise the book, but overall wonderful. We bought it used via AMAZON so we saved a lot of $$$. Rating: - Fantastic BookThis book answers every question you can think of during your pregnancy. It covers all physical expectations and surprises, as well as what to expect emotionally from the day you find out you're pregnant, to the day after delivery. It even tells you what kind of pain to expect during labor and delivery. It describes in laymen's terms what is going on inside your body and all the medical jargon and testing. It is a large hard-cover edition, certainly making it feel as though it has all the information you'll ever need.
