Here is a landmark guide to prosperity, lifes purpose, and self-development by the writer who helped pioneer the inspirational genre: Ralph Waldo Trine. When Trine first published In Tune with the Infinite in 1897, it touched the nation and quickly became one of the most popular books of the dawning century. In Tune with the Infinite was embraced by industrialists (Henry Ford gave away hundreds of copies to colleagues and associates), schoolteachers, laborers, homemakers, students: thoughtful people from all walks of life to whom its message was sheer dynamite. Enduring for decades as the nations preeminent work of self-help, In Tune with the Infinite speaks as urgently and radically today as it did a century ago. Now this milestone is available to a new generation, its complete text reset and redesigned in a handsome, affordable edition. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - IN TUNE WITH THE INFINITEI did not like the book I received because it was not written as the original book. Passages of importants was not set in italic print as the original. I also found a typo error which made me think that this print was not edited properly. I have not gone through the whole book as of yet but was rather dissapointed in what I had received. Rating: - Inspiring & UpliftingThis is the only inspirational 'self-help' book you will ever need. Note: It was written in the 1800s !! Rating: - A masterpiece that won't be able to transcend time...This is not the book it purports to be. The rights to the book were bought by another company and the book was rewritten so much that the book is unrecognizable. I bought this as a reading copy to the older original version of the book(A 3rd edition from 1908). Man, was that a mistake. DON'T BY THIS BOOK! it's not the original, it's a travesty. Rating: - Slight CorrectionI agree with Peter's review but I have one minor correction. I have in my possession a copy of this book dating from 1897. It is great! Rating: - This book is food for the soul and light for the spirit..."In Tune With The Infinite: Fullness of Peace, Power and Plenty" is a book about the essence of the existence of mankind. And Mr. Ralph Waldo Trine couldn't be any more precise in explaining this when he said that, "The great central fact in human life, in your life and mine, is the coming into a conscious, vital realization of our oneness with this Infinite Life, and the opening of ourselves fully to this divine inflow". Based on some of Mr. Waldo's precepts, man is created to the image ... Read More |
