One is that I wanted to get a better understanding of communism and other economic and political theories that were influenced by it or related to it in someway. I also wanted to compare the modern United States and it's history to The Communist Manifesto. I think everyone in the U.S. should read it. It is not very long and is easy to read. I was very pleased with amazon.com the price was perfect and it got to me in a timely manner. ... As with any pivotal work one should read it for his/her self. There is always the chance of misinterpretation by an individual, but if you do not read this then you are just accepting someone's word anyway.
