Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - 80's animation + X-Men + Pryde of the X-Men = X-Cellent!
"X-Men, X-Men, X-Men
Today is the day
X-Men, X-Men, X-Men
They're on their way!
Magneto's hordes are on their way,
Out to pillage and plunder,
Whenever things go wrong,
Our heroes come in like thunder!
X-Men, X-Men, X-Men
Saving the day
X-Men, X-Men, X-Men
Coming your way!" - Theme song of Pryde of the X-Men

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Very Cool
I loved the cartoon. Toad was a ugly looking circus freak and dumb. The danger room or the training facility was quite entertaining. The asteroid "m" fight was great as each X-Men except Xaiver and Storm mad progress to destroy Magneto's diabolical plot. It was there when I became obsessd with the X-Men franchise.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Base your decision on this one fact:
This movie is a one-shot tie-in to the old-school side-scrolling X-Men arcade beat-'em-up. It is only loosely tied to the comics, it's not meant to literally match any particular series or incarnation of the team.

[This explains all the discrepancies that other reviewers are complaining about.]

The arcade game was my all-time favorite (especially the 6-player extra-large cabinet) and I love this movie just as much. Both have a cheesy 80's polish that make them irresistable.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Not as good as the hype
This is really, really bad from a number of different points. One, it tries to fit about 80 issues of comics into one 30 minute episode. Two, the voice acting and placement is really bad. Logan is Australian instead of Canadian and it's painful, and the Professor sounds like Burt Reynolds. Three, the story not only is rushed, but not accurate for the comic and not really good anyways.

Some neat things about it though are the "Japanese-style" animation. They have shown clips of this episode ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Pryde of the X-MEN
I ordered the Pryde of the X-MEN it is so cool.It is better than X-MEN Evolution. To bad they did not make a series of theis. It is alot like the X-MEN comics in a way. But it does also differ,1. White Queen is part of the Brother Hood, I mean if she's not part of the Hellfire Club what's the point of her code name.2.Dazzler did not join the X-MEN before Kittie Pryde alias Sprite.3.Wolverine is not from Australia.4. Juggernaut was not part of the Brother Hood, he's not even a mutant.I do think the cast was ... Read More
