Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The movie that started it all
I just wanted to chime in that the movie preceded the series. It was NOT a piecemeal of the series to create a movie. The movie introduced the characters or could be better described as the PILOT for the series. I am praying that NBC will release the series (with the movie included) as a DVD set. If nothing else, it would put the vultures that are charging upwards of $100 bucks for their pirated copies out of business. It would be nice if they can do add updates on all of the cast members as ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Waiting for DVD of movie and series.
First off, this is by far one of the best series cancelled way too soon. I just wish that they would put out a DVD of the entire series including the movie. I just fell in love with this series growing up and when it went off the air, I was devasted! It's one of the few shows that I still think about and want to see again. I refuse to buy it on tape though because I wouldn't want to watch it in fear of something happening to it or it wearing out like tapes tend to do. Secondly, I have to add this ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The series and the movie were not one and the same!
Someone stated that the series was just the movie cut up with commercials placed throughout. That is simply not true. The move was a jumpstart for the series. It showed how the girls ended up in the mansion and the series was about their lives there.

I wish this was out on dvd. I'd purchase the whole series. My friends and I used to gush about the show the day after it aired.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I KNEW it!!!
HA! I've finally found proof that I am not making it up! I loved this TV show and used to tell all my friends about it. None of 'em had ever even HEARD of it and one person told me, "Are you sure you don't have your own SPECIAL TV that shows these things you make up??" Well! I was vindicated when Battlestar Galactica came back out on TV, I've found the Peanut Butter Solution, and now this...Ahhhh...victory is sweet! :)

Off to look for Small Wonder...that cute lil robot girl...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Didn't know it WAS a movie!
My sister and I were obsessed with this show as kids. In fact, it's the sole reason that I started playing the saxophone in middle school (Mickey, the youngest of the bunch, plays the sax). What's strange is that I never realized that Bill Maher or Tisha Campbell were in it.

I loved the songs - campy, yes, but fun for Annie-type fans. They took Golden Oldies and changed the lyrics to fit the situation. In fact, I can't hear "All I Have To Do Is Dream" without missinging the lyrics as "I couldn't ... Read More
