![]() Rating: - Homecoming Review by:Ashley HughesI saw apart of the movie on TV, but I didn't see it all. Actually, right now on september 18 2006 I started reading the book and am going to read the entire Tillerman series too. This is One of my Four top rated movies. And pretty much my top rated movies are the ones I'm adicted too. This is the greatest movie I've ever seen.I Love the character of Dicey. By itself, I'm not sure that the movie would make much sense in the fact that a lot of important scenes from the book were cut for the sake of time. But if you have read the book, the movie gives you pictures and further imprints the story in your mind; as I said, the acting is incredible. The characters are all real and diverse ... Led by the oldest sister, Dicey (age 13), the children travel many miles on foot to a grandmother they have never known. Anne Bancroft does a fantastic job of portraying a cranky old woman who has forgotten what it is to love and be loved. The children do a great job of reminding her. You'll ... Read More |
