While it wasn't terrible, it seemed to me that the voice actors were poorly matched to there characters, especially in the case of the main characters: Tsutomu has a rather irritating high-pitch to his voice and Birdy is low-key and somewhat bland at times. Too bad because there's so much cool stuff in this anime. The action scenes are very well animated. Simple but not childish, fluid but not too elaborate. The characters are believable too.
