Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - the events are awsome and 1998 was their year but.....
why did they release these tapes in the worst quality possible.....EP tape speed. downright dumb & stupid idea. the quality control on these tapes suck. big line crawling & serious vcr tracking control problems(buzzing noises)(bought this set brand new sealed and immediateally had these problems with each tape). 3 good vcrs and you think one will play the tapes correctly. think again. they did the same EP speed garbage with the wrestlemania collection & wrestlemania legacy vhs boxed sets they released ... Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - 1998 was a very good year
Some times people just start getting on a roll and keep it.
1998 was one of theose years for the WWE (or WWF back then). I think I saw one event on PPV, and yet I own all five of the "majors" from 1998. Why? Because each of the events (along with many of the In Your Houses) got people interested in wrestling. And although WCW was at their height at the time, non of their PPV's was worth watching, let alone keeping.
Rumble - Great Rumble match, IC title match and World title match.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - I'll tell you why this gets one star

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - CLASSICS
THE CLASSIC 5 OF 1998 IS TRULY A CLASSIC. WITH SOME OF THE MOST HARDCORE MATCHES EVER. INCLUDING A CASKET MATCH, DUMPSTER, LADDEER, AND THE IMPHIMOUS HELL IN A CELL.

ROYAL RUMBLE- **** STARS. IT WAS A GREAT EVENT BUT SOME MATCHES DID NOT DELIVER. THE MATCHES THAT DID WERE THE RUMBLE ITSELF, THE CASKET MATCH FOR THE WWF TITLE SHAWN MICHAELS VS. UNDERTKAER. IC TITLE SHAMROCK VS.THE ROCK.

WRESTLEMANIA XIV-*****. THE BEST EVENT OF THE YEAR. THIS WAS AN EXCELLENT EVENT. SOME GREAT MATCHES ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Classsics All right
the classice 5 of 1998 cinsists of the royal rumble, wrestlemania 14, king of the ring, summerslam, and survivor series. Royal Rumble-**** best matches were the intercontinental title match between the rock and ken shamrock, the wwf title in a casket match undertaker vs. hbk shawn Michaels. and the royal rumble itself. wrestlemania-***** my 2nd favorite wrestlemania. the best matches were rock vs. shamrock, the dumpster match, kane vs. undertaker, and stone cold vs.shawn michaels. king of the ring- **** the ...
