![]() Rating: - Mystic and powerfulI love this CD. I've heard it before (a friend of mine has it) and I really wanted my own copy. It's the pulse, the beat... it is mystic but I find it very easy to connect with it. Love to listen to it after a long day, brings me back to my body, makes me more present. Rating: - great music for meditationI love this music for meditation and journeying. There is a slow persistent tabla rhythm which is helpful in relaxing the thinking mind, with just enough zither to add interest without distracting. I am always looking for music to have in the background of my yoga classes- and this didn't work for me. I couldn't use it as a background for meditation or massage either, silence works much better Rating: - Very trance inducingIt's so undemanding that it's almost not music, just natural rhythm. Because it's so low key, it's great background music for chanting. Perfect also for yoga and meditation. My only complaint is that it's only about 55 minutes, so it doesn't last for an hour-long class. Rating: - The Sounds of LoveThis CD is a single, freely flowing instrumental composition that succeeds perfectly in aligning the breath & heartbeat in active meditation. Its' rhythms are gentle, yet pulsating--and definitely entrancing. For people who really want more conventional pop/"New Age" selections that are made up of a number of short (less than 10 min.) tunes, this CD would probably not be of that much interest. However, for people seriously looking for mature meditation music--by all means try el-Hadra. Read More |
