 Rating:  - Another solid thrash album from TestamentTestament may not have invented thrash metal; nor be the most highly recognised name among thrash metal (perhaps depending if you count bands that don't play thrash metal anymore or not), but they are still the best thrash metal band, and even their worst albums put Metallica or most other bands' best to shame. This is another solid offering from Testament, and is good from the start to the end. Rating: - Testament's metal trifecta.Testament's third release brought us, in my opinion, their best release. The Legacy was good. The New Order was even better. Practice was a combination of those two albums and then some. Expertly crafted songs,thought provoking lyrics,great leads, scorching riffs. You name it, this album had it. It was Testament's "Reign In Blood". Sadly, none of their realeses after this could match the intensity or the creativity. No Testament fans collection is complete without this disc. Rating: - Testament at their bestThis was among my favorite albums during my teen years. Alex Skolnick was one of the best guitarists in metal at the time - very underrated in my opinion. Great phrasing, passion, and technique that made not only his solos, but the most straight-forward rhythm work impressive. His riffs were quite an influence on my playing during that time period. Rating: - Classic TestamentThis album is prove that bands like Testament could make great music without going over the commercial side of the music business. Testament emerged from the Bay Area is SF, the same place where giants Metallica and Megadeth were formed. I still don't get why Testament isn't the the Big Four list..in my opinion they could replace Anthrax.
