- I love this book!
Diane Duane is, IMHO, one of the best Trek authors to grace the business. She has a true grasp of Vulcan culture and attitude; that's one of the things I liked best about this story, is that it flips back and forth between present-day political situations on Vulcan (a desire to secede from the federation) and the evolution of culture on Vulcan.
