 Rating:  - Trekkie or No Trekkie this cd is for you! Never was a trekkie, saw one of the movies, KAAAAAHHN! But these cd is worth its price! Too funny and great to listen to. So whether or not your a trekkie you'll love it. What were they thinking?! Suprisingly Nimoy's vocals are pretty decent in a deep monotone baritone kind of way(think Leonard Cohen) and his song selection of classic 60s folk and pop numbers are top notch- in fact i find myself listening to his versions more than the orginals.But theres alot here to laugh at - the spoken word stuff by both Star trek legends is hilarious as well as the instrumental songs. Seriously, Shatner doing the Beatles never, ever gets old. But the surprising part is, some of these songs get beyond their cheesiness--especially a couple of Nimoy's--and are actually charming. Not great music, to be sure, but listenable and enjoyable. And the track called Music for Watching Spacegirls is just plain good and should be in more soundtracks.
