![]() Rating: - OoohlalaI do not own this boxed set, but I have seen the entire series and I absolutely love it! This anime has something for everyone: charming characters, twisted humor, a bit of mecha, a battle, and a very devoted young man named Otaru. I won't give you another synopsis of this series because you can get that from other reviews. But I will tell you WHY this is a great anime that deserves more credit! The characters are loveable, the voice actors charming, and as a whole, the show can make you laugh, cry and ponder all during the same episode. GET IT NOW ! You will understand. A few episodes leave you wondering what they have to do with it but on whole it is great and even those slower episodes have a place after you've seen the whole thing. Rating: - This is my favorite series! The first thing that strikes you about this series is its unorthodox opening sequence. Rather than seeing credits set to a catchy tune, one is suprised to see a capsule blasting off a ship in outer space. When we first saw this, I checked to see if the tape was rewound. |
