 Rating:  - Great Unit!!I've had this unit for around 2 years now, and it's been the best portable music device I've ever had. For starters MD quality is quite good, while this is a portable recorder, the quality isn't as high as would be with full size decks, but it still compares well. By the new standards ('03) this unit is LARGE, when I bought it, it was rather reasonable. However the scroll dial is it's best feature. I found it easy to use and edit the discs. I used it for recording live music, interviews, MP3, old vinyl records. But, unfortunately in two years mine has broken twice. It no longer records, and it is getting kind of touchy about ejecting the discs. More work on the design of this thing needs to be done. It's not a durable piece of equipment. Rating: - Great product, but...I've had my MD player for about 2 and a half years. It has been mostly reliable throughout these years. The remote clip broke off about 6 months ago, which is no big deal, and the jog dial has been working on and off for the past year. Two unnecessary but very helpful functions.
