In order to see what I'd typing, I had to lean my wrists onto the wooden shelf. Now my wrists & hands can rest on this. It is very stable, does not move unless I want it to move. It is extremely comfortable, too. I'd recomment it to anyone who has problems with their hands and/or wrists. I have ms; my arms & hands get fatigued quickly.
