 Rating:  - Very Good ExceptThis tool does the job very well and is very intuitive. I had perfectly fit riser/tread in 45 mins. This can make for building a set of stairs quickly. The only thing with it is that some of the 'stays' are plastic. I had one break after it fell off the table saw. My fault for dropping it. Next time I use it I will mill up some new ones out of aluminum or a hard wood. Great tool, very useful Rating:  - stair wizzard = $$this tool is great the sliding dovetail arms are a little sticky but some wax fixes that. I have never done a stair case this fast and tight it is like i was cheating! i advise anyone who builds stairs to buy this tool it will pay for its self in the first 5 steps you do on a stair case. i have made other tools or jigs similar to this but this is by far the best and can be used for other things than stairs like wall to wall closet shelves . Rating: - Wheaton tools Mr. Wheaton resolved the dilemma with my tool by sending me a replacement part. The part arrived in working order and Mr. Wheaton was understanding about the issue with the tool. It took a little time for each of us to make contact but when this happened Mr. Wheaton took care of the problem. It is made with every attention to detail and the craftsmanship,and is second to none. A very fine looking and not to mention a tool that does it's job that it was designed for, highly recommend if you do a lot of hand built stairs. Rating: - Stair Wizard - Blemish are greatI bought one of the $124 PL200 Stair Wizard that the factory was selling becasue of blemishes. Well, I got it and used it on a stair job this week and I cannot find a blemish and the tool worked perfectly. Don't miss out on this deal or else you'll pay full price. This is a needed tool if you're going to do stairs as part of your job. Not just for treads on enclosed stairways, but it'll do risers and even angled treads. Other makes aren't as versatile.
