The base is readily adjustable for different sizes. You need to take your time with the pieces and lay them all out and measure first, then bolt them together. The directions could have been a bit clearer, but if you study the directions, compared to the parts that you have, it is not too difficult to put the base together. I have a smallish garage and this allows for me to store my tools along the outer wall and pull them into the center when I need them. I have an older version that I bought a few years ago at Sears and this is by far easier to set up and use. It also feels more stought than the older version.
