In addition to playing music, the ZSM7 can also record music onto MD. The ZSM7 has repeat once, repeat all, random shuffle, and programmed playback modes. The radio has 24 total presets (12 each for FM and AM), and its "auto preset" function automatically displays station names for up to 12 stations. You can digitally copy an entire CD to MD with a single press of a button, as well as record music from the radio. When you record onto MD from the radio, the station name is appended onto the MD track title. You also divide or combine tracks recorded from the radio and add a date and time stamp of the recording. The ZS-M7 also includes a clock and a timer function, which enables you to wake (or fall asleep) to music from CD, MD, or radio as well as set a timed recording. There is no skipping in a portable Mini-Disc player like CD players. What people don't know is that they've been around since the early 90's, and are just now getting noticed.
