The only reason I give it a 4 and not a 5 is that it doesn't work with all iterations of the Genesis and it is for an out of date console. Rating:  - A "must buy"If you are a hardcore Genesis player you have to get this! (make sure you have a Genesis model 2 though - he compact one without the volume control or headphone jack - or it won't work) The difference between mono and stereo sound is very noticable, whether coming through my stereo TV speakers or a pair of stereo headphones.
