 Rating:  - Can't core all the way throughThe corer doesn't cut all the way through the apple.. so I usually end up just breaking off the slices. Also, the handles flexes a little too much, wish it was stiffer. I'm afraid in a few months, I'll break off one the handles. As a long time mango lover I was happy to see this product. After several tries I am no longer happy. If you have a stringy mango it is impossible to cut. If you have a nice firm mango it is hard to cut. It just does not work as it is cumbersome and one is unable to press down on the fruit itself to get it through the cutter. I do not recommend buying the mango corer. (The picture of the apple corer is not the product reviewed) Rating: - Oxo apple corerGood product design, but due to the variation in apple size and shape doesn't do the job sometimes. Rating: - a bit priceyWorks fine but a bit expensive so I'm only giving it 3 stars. I got it because I had a just a few dollars left on a gift certificate and we needed a corer. Otherwise I would have gotten a much cheaper brand. |
