 Rating:  - great insulationfirst off it's a little big to be carrying casually around but not so big that it's a real hassle. My mom worries about water spots but if you wipe it dry it's no problem. I've used mine for hot drinks and cold. It kept iced coffee cold all morning and afternoon. I didn't try to keep it around any longer. Unlike most products I buy, I actually read the directions on this one. I fill it with hot water while I'm getting ready in the morning, then fill it with coffee before leaving for work. I ride my motorcycle about 20 miles each morning with the thermos strapped to the back and my coffee is still piping hot when I get to my desk. I would definitely buy it again. Rating:  - no better than any other thermosI'm giving this 2 stars just for its looks. It is a nice-looking thermos but so far has not proven any better at keeping things hot than any other one on the market. I poured boiling water into the thermos, sealed it and let it sit for 20 minutes or so. I emptied the water, put a filter cone filled with coffee on top and poured boiling water through that into the thermos. Sealed it up, took it to work, had a small cup of coffee. About 5 hours later, mid-afternoon, I poured what was not really hot ... Read More Rating: - Great ThermosThere isn't much to say about a thermos. This works exactly like I wanted it to. It keeps my tea hot all day, it pours nicely into its cup-lid, and it's easy to get to work. The only minor complaint I have is that the opening is fairly small, but I think it's worth it for the benefit of a conveniently sized thermos. Would definitely recommend this for anyone who would be using it on a daily basis. |
