The glasses are 9 inches tall, 2-1/2 inches across the top, and 3 inches across the wider portion of the tulip shape. They have very thin stems and wide, stable bottoms that won't tip easily--a design bonus, since no one likes trying to clean red wine out of a tablecloth. These particular vino grande red wine glasses are good for entertaining when you don't need all of the specific sizes of wine glasses to serve your guests. One size fits all here. Great quality & a great price! Rating: - Height of wine vino grande Red Spiegelau Could anyone tell me the height of the Spiegelau vino grande red wine glasses as advertised on the Amazon site. I need the style that is approx. 8 inches high and holds about 9 oz of wine (measured to the top of the glass). I currently have Spiegelau glasses this size and can't find them in their collection. These appear to be the correct size based on comments in the Review section. They fit in my dishwasher! Thanks. Jan Rating: - Nice glassesThese glasses are a bit small for red wine glasses, in fact they are only a bit larger than the std line Spiegetau white wine glasses I already had. However, for every day use the will suit me just fine. And most peaple unless they are real wine conesuers. Rating:  - Not at all like the Riedel bordeaux glasses.Not at all what I thought. The reviews made this sound like the Reidel bordeaux glasses, but these hold maybe half the wine, are much smaller in volume, don't have much of a balloon shape. Very disappointed. Don't get these if your goal is to replicate the Reidel. |
