 Rating:  - mountHello I purchased this so I could mount my etrex to my road bike. The mount would not fit around the handle bar so I had to attach the mount to the bike using some zip tie's. I think it would fit my mountain bike just fine. Kevin Rating:  - doesn't fit eTrex Legend cxPlease note that you do not need to purchase this if you want to attach your eTrex GPS to your bike or motorcycle handlebars. Just purchase the Large Diameter Rail mount adapter (for larger bars - I have a HD Dyna) and use the GPS mount adapter that comes with your GPS. The back plate included in the Bicycle Mount kit does not fit the Garmin eTrex Legend cx GPS device. Rating: - It works well, but it's not durableI used this one on my mountain biking. My eTrex fits very well with this mount, but the mounts has broken on an accident during biking. It wasn't ugly accident, only light fall. But because this is only mount available for eTrex, I've bought another one. :P Rating:  - Not as advertised on packageThe item does not fit the eTrex Vista. The package says it will, but it will not. The Vista has a Micro SD memory card. The replacement back piece mold will not allow the piece to fit. It cannot even be cut to fit due to the Micro SD memory card. Rating:  - Put your GPS on your bike!Sure, these little pieces of plastic should be $2., but buy 1 or 2 and put them on your bikes. The Garmin units make very good bike computers and they work very well in the sticks, even in thick woods. The mounts are simple and adaptable to road and mtn bikes (i have them on both). They hold the eTrex firmly and yet you can remove the GPS easily. Stop buying bike computers and get more life out of your GPS. I am glad i did. |
