 Rating: - Great filter for the priceI purchased this filter with the sole purpose of keeping my lens clear of scratches, knowing that if a scratch does occur, I can replace the filter for less than $10 rater than replacing a $180 lens. Once I added the filter, however, I noticed that my outdoor pictures seemed much crisper and clearer than before. This is a great deal for the price. Rating: - Perfect for Water & beach shots.The Tiffen filter is quality made. And is really nice for doing beach shots where the sky or the water sometimes gets overexposed or blown out when trying to get the perfect mix of sky and water detail. Highly recommended. Rating: - good qualityThis is great for black and white film photography. The green lightens all green in the shot which shows all the the detail but it can make you loose the sky. Rating:  - UV filter is junkThe 58mm UV filter would not fit any of three 58mm Canon lenses in my bag. The threads are just poorly cut. In the mailbox for return already. Rating: - filter was terrible qualityterrible product, the lens came and was loose, rattling, going to have to buy another one, different brand. |
