 Rating:  - very helpfulI homeschool my 10 year old and she loves this product. You know it's good when she wants to listen to the cd AFTER school hours! hooray!!!! Rating: - States and CapitalsFun way to learn the States and Capitals. I learned a song when I was in sixth grade about the States and Capitals. Not quite the song I remembered, but still fun. Rating: - Worked like a charm!My daughter wants to listen to this CD every chance she gets. Her friends love it too. I have learned my state capitals all over again and had fun doing it with my child, it's great! Rating:  - Not engaging, not usefulI had high hopes for this CD, as I'd like a fun way to teach my kids the states. However, the "songs" are mostly kids speaking the words (not singing) with a musical background. The details about the states are not consistent -- for example, for one state you learn when it became a state, for another, what its state flower is (how is that relevant to what the state is like?) and yet another, the major crops or the weather. It's useless as music, and useless as learning. The Animaniacs "States" ... Read More Rating: - A MUST HAVE FOR KINDERGARTEN TEACHERSThis is the best cd to use to teach Kindergarteners the states. My class just loves singing it and we song the states song for the kindergarten graduation. Highly reccomended! |
