 Rating: - Very enjoyable filmThis film is very predictable and is by no means original. Yet with that said, I enjoyed it. It has been a long time since a film has caused me to cry. I just saw the movie on Starz and am adding it to my DVD library. Rating: - Ruby / Joey made the movie for meI'm a straight guy's guy, and I enjoyed "Beautiful" very much. Why? Because of the touching performance by Joey Lauren Adams as Ruby, devoted friend to Minnie Driver's Mona. Joey made Ruby a sweet, kind, generous, admirable young woman who gave so much to others and received so little in return. Each of Joey's performances has been special in its own way, but her role in "Beautiful" tops them all in my book.
