The company will not ship the tadpole unless weather conditions are just right, so be prepared to possibly wait if you live in the North. They ship from Florida. Unfortunately, because of the carelessness of the United States Postal Service, Grow-A-Frog had to ship a tadpole three times. I talked her out of it because the thing looked like so big and bulky. We ended up with a grow a frog kit instead. I had wondered how amazon got me these live tadpoles, this is how it worked. I got the package from amazon which is basically a box with tadpole food, habitat and a card that says "good for one grow a frog". The card is mailed in to the grow a frog folks who then mail you a tadpole in a starfoam container.
