 Rating:  - Very good replacement.While my original carafe of 11 years still works, the 2-piece lid had one of the pieces break causing splatter whenever coffee is brewed. This new carafe is taller which reduces the opportunity for splatter to exit the carafe and the lid is a 1-piece version, so there are fewer places for failure. As for the comments of the carafe having thinner glass, it does seem that way, but when comparing to the my original carafe, it isn't *that* much thinner. I will say that the shape doesn't ... That turned out to be the case and it was shipped and arrived promptly. Rating: - IT'S A CARAFE, PEOPLE.How do i review a CARAFE?? It shows up in the Amazon smiley box; I use it to make coffee.
