The paddle-shaped board has a flat side for prep work or slicing and serving bread and a side with a channel to catch juices when carving meat or poultry. Because the set consists of large, medium, and small boards, most cutting and carving needs are satisfied. The large board measures 14-1/4 by 10-3/4 inches, the medium is 10 by 8 inches, and the small measures 7 by 9-1/4 inches. All three are 1/2-inch thick, have textured surfaces to reduce slipperiness, and include handholds that double as hanging holes. The boards contain Microban, an antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of bacteria that can cause odors and stains in the boards themselves. However, the agent does not protect against food-borne bacteria so the boards need regular cleaning for proper sanitation. --Fred Brack Average Rating:
 Rating: - not badi was skeptical buying these boards because of the cheap price but i've chopped and pounded away on them and they work just fine. the color so far has also stayed bright white. Rating: - Love this set!I was looking to replace my current cutting board and happened across this set. I love it. Instead of just one large cutting board, I now have three. Rating:  - cheap qualityThese boards are horrible. Warped, bad color, would not use my 99 jc penny knife on these much less my Henckles. Total utter garbage, do not waste your money on these. Rating:  - Nice sizes, non-staining!I love this set! The three different sizes all come in handy and I find myself using the biggest one more often than I thought I would! These haven't stained like other cutting boards I have had (from things like tomato paste or red bell peppers!) and cope with the dishwasher just fine, even on the bottom rack! |
