 Rating:  - I LIKE ITI WAS just a little bit hesitant to buy this lathe because the reviews were not all positive. I am really glad I did, though, because it is a very good piece of equipment. It was easy to set up, runs quietly, hardly any vibration, and I am thoroughly satisfied. Buy it, you will like it. Rating:  - switch breaks!My father bought this lathe and within weeks the switch broke and he had to wait months for a replacement switch, and then a few months later, the switch broke again, and he is having to wait months for a replacment switch. Read More Rating: - Probably as goos as anything you are going to make on it!Mine operates well, with minimum vibration, and everything works as well as it should. The bed is quite heavy, and it assembled easily, as all holes lined up perfectly. I had no problem assembling it by myself. You only need to purchase a spanner to hold the headstock for faceplate removal. My little projects don't slow this powerful tool any. Rating: - Love My Delta LatheI am very pleased with my purchase of the Delta lathe. Everything is machined to a tight tolerance and the spindels line up perfectly. Heavy cast iron construction.
