 Rating:  - Terrible ProductAfter about a month, it started producing cool-mist that smelled funny, like something bad had rotted in the room. The filters are a nuisance. I think I'm much better off with a steam vaporizer. However the filters were impossible to find and the whole thing stopped working after a month of use! Don't buy this product. Spend the extra money and get a better humidifier! I called the 800 number trying to see if I did everything right but couldn't get a live person on the phone. I went and exchange the item and the second one didn't work. Horrible Horrible product and business. Rating: - Quieter Than Others I TriedI bought this model after trying 2 others that were just too loud. This model is pretty quiet, there is a hum but I think my daughter likes the white noise of it. I use filtered or distilled water to cut down on build-up inside the unit. Any humidifier is going to have to be cleaned regularly. Vicks makes several different Cool Mist humidifiers so be careful which one you get because the others I tried were also Vicks and were really loud. |
