Editorial Review:

Description:
The producers who brought you Dumb and Dumber and stars Joe Pesci (My Cousin Vinny), Kristy Swanson (Dude, Where's My Car?) and David Spade ("Just Shoot Me") offer up this "deliciously dark and wildly hilarious" (Jeanne Wolf's Hollywood) black comedy that'll leave you rollingwith laughter! Hit man Tommy Spinelli (Pesci) has twenty-four hours to deliver a bag of eight "former associates" to an angry mob boss in San Diego. But when a fellow traveler, Charlie (Andy Comeau), mistakenly takes the bag, the heads go to Baja...and Tommy just goes ballistic! While the hit man desperately tries to find Charlie, Charlie desperately tries to find a way to get thebag's horrific contents back across the border. Who's gonna wind up with the heads? And who's just gonna lose his? Only one thing's for sure...they'll both have to use their noggins to get out of this one!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - 8 heads
Pesci tries to smuggle 8 heads to his boss to get paid some money. This move was much like a few other movies I had seen. Captain Ron, Christmas vacation, etc. Joe was a weird annoying guy that ruined the lives of a perfectly good couple. Just like Captain Ron and the relatives from out of town in Christmas vacation. Of course in the end however, Joe becomes a hero and liked by the audience. This movie was funny, and sick at the same time. Of course it is sick, there are eight heads in a duffel bag, ... This is one I can watch over and over, you cannot help but laugh out loud!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Not so Dark
Joe Pesci is a bag man for a mob family. His current contract is to deliver a bag containing the heads of eight rivals. This should be a simple delivery but circumstances force a bag switch. Now Pesci has a bag of clothes while a pre-med student has the heads. To make matters worse, the student has just driven into Mexico with his girlfriend's family. Only one small clue can help Pesci track down his cargo before a contract is taken out on himself.

What follows are typically improbable ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Fitfully funny
Although the film begins strongly, the yuks come less often as this movie drags on. The performances are also a bit off-key: Dyan Canon's screechy and hysterical role is wearisome, Kristy Swanson is little more than eye candy, George Hamilton is stiff and unconvincing, David Spade isn't animated enough, and so on. The movie requires an unusually large suspension of disbelief: For instance, these may be the only corpses that don't stink or attract insects. There are enough funny moments to prevent viewing ...
