The coffeemaker brews up to 10 cups using a fast brewing method that thoroughly extracts the rich flavor and aroma from your ground coffee. The integrated Brita water filter also contributes to better-tasting coffee by screening out chlorine and other harsh minerals, plus it prevents calcification within the water tank. A marker on the top of the water tank helps you keep track of when the water filter needs to be changed. Other handy extras on the AromaDeluxe include a filter release button, which swings the detachable filter basket open for filling or easy cleaning, and a pause-and-serve feature, which stops the brewing while you pour a cup of coffee midway through a cycle.  Rating:  - Some really good coffee...I had to buy this particular coffee maker because my old Braun finally broke down. Unfortunately they no longer make that model anymore, so I went with this one. I didn't want any frills, just a good cup of coffee and this definitely delivers. I've tried other more expensive brand coffee makers, with the buttons and really cool looks, but they don't even compare to a Braun. Rating:  - Very DisappointingI purchased this model to replace an 8 year old version that finally died. The new model is cheaply built and the coffee is just passable. The plastic is thin and the basket closure does not seal tightly as with the older models. In order to get a decent cup of coffee, you need to use the gold filter basket AND put a paper filter into the machine.
