 Rating:  - Small Size + Functionality + Low PriceI haven't read up on scanners much lately, but at the time I bought this one a couple of years ago, it was a perfect low price, thin, and lightweight scanner that worked very well for basic tasks. It still works great on the rare occasions I use it to scan snapshots, simple drawings, or text. Although another family member did have trouble getting it to work with one of our computers, I have personally never had a problem. If you can get a good deal on a used one, I'd say to go for it. I thought the problem must have been with my Dell Dimension older computer so I packed it away for a couple of months. Later, I took it into my office and asked the IT department to install it on my state of the art work computer (I didn't have a scanner at work at the time).
