Rating: - Change in subscription: please noteJust got the Sept/October 2008 issue. They are reducing issues/year to 6. What does that mean for those of us who subscribed at the old rate? Checking my address label, I got "one year" at the old rate, for a reduced number of issues. Now for the review: I have gotten this magazine for years, and I think it's the best quilt magazine around. It's a good mix of articles, ads and patterns. Rating: - I Love Quilters NewsletterI have been a fan of Quilters Newsletter for more than 15 years and I love it. This magazine is a great resource for begining and experienced quilters. The featured quilts are stunning, and the artist interviews offer lots of inspiration. Rating: - Somewhat DisappointedI received my first issue of Quilters Newsletter last week. After browsing through it my first thought was that there really wasn't anything interesting in it except for the quilt on the cover of the magazine. Hopefully, subsequent issues will be better. Otherwise, I won't renew my subscription when it expires. Rating: - Up-to-Date Quilting newsQuilter's Newsletter provides quilters with current information about quilt shows, contests, new fabric lines, awards, etc. Helen Kelley's column is always fun to read. An article featuring a quilter and her(his)techniques is in each issue. Each month QN inludes a paper piecing block to make and also pictures of quilts made by various subscribers.
