I was skeptical, but suggested it to his aunt for a birthday present. I am impressed at the huge variety of projects kids can do. He just opened it yesterday and he and his best friend have been playing with it for HOURS. Totally cool, very educational, encourages imagination and is just plain fun!! Rating: - Excellent: Fun, educationalWe got this for our son's 6th birthday. It's a little more challenging for him to do it solo but I have no doubt he will be able to within a couple months. He lights up when the music, noise, or lightbulb (or all of them) work. It's a great product. I highly recommend it. The plastic storage tray makes it easy to account for all parts. The kit uses rigid circuit components, making circuits easy to understand... as opposed to using flexible wires. Wires would tend ... Both our boys 10 & 5, our daughter, my hubby, his dad and I all found ourselves having a great time with it. Each of us made our own project, some with the book and some without. A good chance for grandpa to show off his very impressive skills! Can't wait to add to the set. |
