Editorial Review:

Product Description:
LeapFrog Learning Friend Lily is a little bilingual wonder makes learning a breeze with music and counting to encourage interest. Squeeze her one time to hear her count from one to ten, and then squeeze her again to hear a joyful song about colors. She'll even sing about the objects on her shirt. Cute, cuddly and full of fun learning songs, this adorable 12" tall plush turns on when the right foot is squeezed, and switches from English to Spanish simply with the squeeze of her left foot. It requires three "AA" batteries, which are included.

Amazon.com:
Leap Frog's Learning Friend Lily is a giddy, green introduction to English, Spanish, numbers, counting, and colors for kids between 1 and 5 years. Lily uses visual learning aids--there are numbers on her colorful outfit, and in the fabric book attached to her hand--and inviting songs to go through each word, numeral and color in her repertoire. The learning songs are original and catchy, so kids will readily remember them, and can listen with each press of Lily's foot. They can activate her by hugging her soft body, too, as she teaches kids the role of a smart, cuddly friend. Required: 3 AAA batteries. Diane Beall

Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - loud and annoying
I bought this for Christmas for my daughter (11 months) thinking it would be good learning and fun for her. But its really loud and there is no way to adjust the sound level. Also to learn from she really needs to have someone with her to point out the objects Leaping Lily is counting. Overall a very durable toy but doesn't pack much of a punch for enjoyment or learning.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - She Miles and Claps
This was purchased for my Granddaughter Kendall who is 10 months old. She absolutely loves this toy. She smiles and claps whenever she plays with it. And a side note, her mom says its the only toy that keeps her still while she combs her hair!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great
Both my daugther and niece have Lily and they love it. The only difficulty I have is cleaning it.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - She's OK
Too much button-pushing for my two-year old. She can't remember that you have to push Lily's tummy every time she finishes counting so you can go on to the color of the counted item. She just pushes her toes, going from English to Spanish, then tosses her aside. Leap Frog could have used three different songs to add some variety.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Our 22 month old twins have ZERO INTEREST in Lily!
I don't know what it is about this toy, but neither of our twins (one boy, one girl) like to play with her. If I turn her on, they find her voice irritating and push her away.

Sorry Leap Frog, this one needs improvement!
