Editorial Review:

Product Description:
NASCAR Thunder 2004 puts gamers behind the wheel in a world where grudges and alliances mean the difference between victory lane and disaster. You're no longer just racing a track, you're racing a pack of 42 real world stars who think for themselves, remember your every move, and aren't afraid to pay you back.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Fun for all ages
This game was based on the 2003 Nascar season, which was the last year it was called "Winston Cup"....I absolutely love this game. I got a wheel for my pc version, and it is awesome. The two best feature's I think this game has is the number of race tracks to choose from, and being able to pick the best drivers from days of old..I.E. Richard Petty(My Fav. Driver of All Time), the late Great Dale Earnhardt. Although, it is strange seeing a deceased driver on the track. The fantasy courses are really ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Game
They just keep making these games better and better each year. While I suppose this one is now dated, as it is no longer 2004, this is still a fun and entertaining game. If you are wanting a good NASCAR game you have found in this or any other one made by EA.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Nascar Thunder 2004 Review
Most people view Nascar 2005: Chase for the Cup as the greatest Nascar game released. I do not feel this way. Ever since I played "Thunder 2004" for the first time, I loved it. One day, I rented Nascar 2005 and I also had Nascar Thunder 2004. I played both for 2 hours and evaluated both. Thunder may be outdated, but it is much more fun than Chase for the Cup. There are special fantasy tracks and if you have ever dreamed about racing as "Tony Stewart" around the infamous "Daytona Beach" of when Nascar ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - So many glitches, it hurts
Nascar Thunder 2004 PC version

Overall, I like the concepts this game tried to bring in. But there are SO MANY SCREW UPs, that I can rarely get through a race. So I have made a list....

1. Viewing Replays during a Race
- If you view a replay during a race, and you exit the replay while the part you are replaying is a previous pit stop, you come out of the replay on the track, wherever you stopped racing to start your replay, then suddenly, it says "Black Flag - Speeding ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Worth the money
It's very hard to pass the leader on restrictor plate tracks (realistic as it is) so sometimes you make contact with them and it's a sure thing that you're going to get turned around as you come off turn 4 by that person. I still rate it a 5.
