I purchased this product to take with me on a road trip so that I could plug in 2 items. The springs inside kept pushing the plugs out so that it was unusable.

Rating: - Works well, but picky with plugs
I purchased this item to enable my mother to operate her GPS navigator and massage seat simultaneously. There was no issue with the former, but the latter's plug wouldn't stay in; immediately upon insertion, it would pop right out.

I noticed that the plug in question differed from most, and it evidently fell outside this unit's tolerances (despite being compatible with the bare cigarette lighter port).

I bought this so my wife could use her iPod and Garmin GPS at the same time. It fits very snugly into the cigarette lighter jack in her car, and we've never had any problems with fit or functionality.

Just one word of caution - this thing is pretty big. The gearshift in her car isn't far from the end of the adapter once it is plugged in and then the electronics aren't plugged into it.
