 Rating:  - Frogger's just not what it used to be :(I played Frogger as a kid on the Atari (I know, I'm ancient) and it was one of my favorite games. Even though graphically speaking this game is a step up from Atari's Frogger, the game is very frustrating to play. I don't think I could call it "fun". Story Mode is too long and complicated, and Challenge Mode is okay but you only get two lives! And trust me it takes about two seconds to use them both up, then you have to start all over. I'm not really sure how many players there can be, but that doesn't matter because my brother and I always save each of our games on separate files. I know that's not the same thing as playing at the same time, but I would rather play alone than have a split screen. I hope this review was helpful! Rating: - Only one player at a time!This game does not support multi-player as suggested in the product description. Very disappointing as we have three children who would like to play the game together. The graphics are good and the story line is good, but if your sole intent is to purchase for more than one player, you will be very disappointed. Tech Support for Konami for PS2 is non-existent, so don't try to look for answers there. It's too bad we can't get our money back. Don't waste your money on this product. |
