Rating: - holds them all!!!This block has enough slots that are large - to hold just about all knives you will need. It has a 3 1/2 inch for a cleaver and a couple of 2 inches for a Santoku and a large chef's knife. It has several 1 1/2 and 1 inch slots. It has a place to store your steel and kitchen shears. Too often knife blocks have only standard slots and I have some decidedly non-standard shaped knives and sharpening tools. This one handles every shape.
