 Rating:  - great for kidsIf you have children and want plates that are (nearly) unbreakable and don't want to use plastic, this is the product for you. A little pricey for cheap tableware, but worth it. Rating:  - One Durable PlateCorelle plates and bowls have been with our household ever since I remember. We used to have (we still have them but they are on the shelves) Corelles with color designs but we decided to stick with simple plain ones which is easier to match. Pros: -Durable. Me and my wife have dropped them many times; and they don't break easily. -Light. These plates aren't the same size as the smaller plates included in the 16 piece Corelle Set. They are actually a nice size inbetween the dinner plate and salad plates(?) included in the starter set. Had I known I was introducing a new size to the mix and not just adding a couple more medium sized plates, I might have ordered 4 instead of two. On the Amazon.com screen, it asks how many of the item you want to order; I selected 8 because I wanted 8 plates. The particular vendor the item was obtained from, sold them in boxes of 6 (Acehardware,com). I was shocked to receive 48 plates.
