I have the Microsoft Wireless 5000 keyboard and mouse and wanted my new Vista platform desktop to share the mouse, keyboard, monitor, audio and printer with my old reliable XP desktop. It seems to work just fine! There's even an additional usb slot for my external hard drive. Everything is connected and working well. The one thing I had problems with at first was that you have to hold the switch button ... Also, tech told me this unit hasd known issues with Nvidia chip-set motherboards and with wireless keyboards........ I guess I didn't know anyone still connected the keyboard ... It's works, it works fast and it works using hot keys so we can switch from one computer to the other with no troubles. |
