 Rating:  - Worked like a charm.Knowing that I had a flooring job that was going to take place over multiple weekends, It made more sense cost-wise to just outright by a flooring stapler. After a little online research, I chose the 461 for a couple of reasons. One, was the fact that it could easily be converted to a standard stapler (something few models do). Read More Rating:  - Porta-Nailer 461All in all, I'm happy with the Porta-Nailer 461. I just finished 550 square feet of Bamboo flooring for which I used 3000 staples. I didn't have a single staple jam even when I mistakenly put one staple right on top of another. One of the appealing features of the 461 is that it takes a 1.25 inch staple. Read More Rating: - floor staplerThis is one of the best tools I have ever owned. I put in about 400 sq ft of 3/8 " hardwood flooring without a hitch. Not one jamb!! Ran pressure about 70psi and it worked great. I would highly recommend Rating: - lay floors fastBefore buying this floor stapler, we were using a manual stapler for hard wood floors. This made the job must easier and more pleasant. The Porta-Nailer is well built and comes with a carrying case and an interchangeable piece to turn the stapler into a point and shoot stapler. Note that this stapler is only useful for thinner engineered wood floors. Rating: - Indispensable when doing a 3/8" exotic hardwood floorThis nailer / stapler has been a life saver. I am 1/2 way done with installing a new Bellawood Brazillian Koa floor (3/8") and I'd still be on the first 1/10th if it wasn't for this tool. Works like a champ once you get the pressure dialed in. The only issue that I've had is that it doesn't always pull the next staple and sometimes fires a blank. I've greased the chute and that seems to have helped a little. Overall... great tool that is well made. |
