Editorial Review: Product Description: Evenflo Snugli Cross Country Frame Carrier For the avid hiker and trailblazer, now you can bring your little one along to enjoy the wonders of nature with the Evenflo Snugli Cross Country Frame Carrier. The most important thing for a parent is the safety and comfort of their baby. The 5-point child harness is padded for both. A canopy provides convenient shelter and shade from the elements. The heavily padded seat is made in the cockpit style ensuring your little one will stay in one spot, instead of gradually sinking and sliding. Mesh panels surrounding the carrier will keep the trip cool and cozy. The most important thing for a hiker is weight distribution. The frame carrier is lightweight and compact to start, but when there's a baby back there, you need help. Along with a hip belt, the load balancing straps distribute weight off your shoulders and onto the hips. The wide-padded hip belt is lined with mesh and easily adjusts to fit adults 5 ft to 6 ft 2 in. The adjustable sternum strap and mesh back panel add to your comfort during any trip. With loads of storage room and reflective safety trim, order the Evenflo Snugli Cross Country Frame Carrier today! Amazon Review: This outdoors carrier allows tiny trekkers (up to 40 lbs.) to ride Rocky Mountain high without wearing down Mom or Dad. It aims to keep parents (up to 6'2") cool, comfy, balanced, safe and secure. That's a tall order, but the included features pull it all off fairly well if used correctly. They include: a 5-point padded harness, 3-position hip belt, adjustable sternum, shoulder and waist straps, "no sweat" mesh back and side panels, reflective "commuter" trim, a removable sun-canopy, rather spacious storage for baby essentials, and more. The carrier is lighter and more convenient than it looks--if a bit skimpy on the paddingbecause of all the smart straps and belts. Be thankful for them. But, if the load becomes too much to bear parents can simply prop it up vertically with the included kickstand and take a breather. --Diane Beall Average Rating:

He even fell asleep on our last hike. There is plenty of space for storage. It just comes down to the weight issue. So far just my husband has worn it, he is 6 feet tall and says its comfortable for him to wear and easy to put on. Rating: - Great carrier, poor customer serviceThe carrier is great. No complaints about it. Evenflo, however, leaves something to be desired: we broke the front side-release buckle on the carrier by closing a car door on it. Completely our fault. I contacted Evenflo about a replacement buckle, saying that it was my fault and that I would pay for the replacement and shipping for the buckle. They told me that they do not offer replacement buckles and suggested that I stop using the carrier. Looking around online, I found a replacement buckle ... I walked 3 miles in it today, and he slept most of the way. Lots of room for adjustment as he grows, and the kickstand makes it very easy to get in & out of by myself. Fantastic product! Rating: - Great Backpack with lots of storageMy husband who is 6' has no problems carrying our 1 yr old around in it, but I am 5'2" and it hurts my shoulders to carry around a 20lb kid for too long. The storage on the carrier is great however and holds everything we might need for a hike. Material seems sturdy. Great color. Son likes to ride in it and actually falls asleep in it sometimes. Rating: - Snugli pack is "ok"The snugli pack is "middle of the road" - we didn't want to spend a couple hundred dollars on a nicer pack - however, you get what you pay for. we've borrowed a kelty pack before and it was great! adjustments were easy and could get the pack comfortable. On the Snugli, the baby seems a little too close to the back of your head. This pack is rated for up to 40 lbs, but after a month and a half of use with our 22 lb, 9 month old son, one of the shoulder straps tore and was litterally hanging by a thread. ... Read More |
