This thermometer system includes a sleek base unit that conveys temperatures in large digits with outdoor information transmitted by the provided outdoor sensor. The plastic base monitor adapts for wall mounting or stands upright on tables or window ledges. The LCD display reveals the dual temperatures in 1-1/5-inch high digits. The base unit also records daily minimum and maximum temperatures and notifies users of low battery levels with a low-battery indicator. Users may opt to read the temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees. Inside measurement capabilities range from +23 to +122 degrees F, while outdoor temperatures range from -4 to +140 degrees F.  Rating:  - Just WorksWe have had this set for quite a while. Replace batteries in both units and re-sync at that time, once a year. It just works. Since my wife works outside most of the time, it helps to know the REAL outside temperature especially on cold mornings. She really appreciates that aspect of having a good remote unit. I tried to find the instruction manual online, but can't seem to find it, or the Taylor web site. Rating: - Great way to monitor your freezerI bought this device with the express purpose of keeping track of the internal temperature of the chest freezer we keep in our garage. With the remote sensor snuggled deep in the freezer, and the main display unit hanging on the wall, I can see the temperature of the interior of the garage and see how cool the freezer is at a glance. So far, so good. Rating:  - not much to review when it doesn't workWildly innacurate when it did but for the most part this was a waste of time and money Rating: - Wireless sensor never workedI purchased this for my father for Father's Day, but was disappointed that it never actually worked. I installed fresh batteries and followed all instructions (it's not particularly complex to set up), but the wireless sensor never connected to the base station. I left them in close proximity to each other for 72 hours and it didn't work at all. I tried moving them around a little bit to ensure that there was no interference, but that had no effect.
