![]() Rating: - At last! A Jump button AND a Kill button, in the same game! Thank Gawd! One of my objections to some of the recent fantasy-style games I've played is that the designers either give you a jump button OR a kill button, but rarely both. This results in a great many terrible games with awkward controls. Maybe the GBA is a dying platform-- there don't seem to be as many decent games coming out these days, but Shaman King Master of Spirits is one of the few good ones. You travel around a map as Yoh Asakura, fighting monsters and collecting Spirits. The spirits ... It took me about a week to beat one file in normal mode. An I beat the game in hard mode in about a week or two. Rating: - A Fun, Challenging gameWhen I first saw this game, the first thing that popped in the back of my mind (after reading the back) was that this looked a lot like Castlevania, only with a younger twist. After playing it I came to the conclusion that this game uses the Shaman King Licence, but is and amalgamation of Castlevania 2 Simons Quest (NES) and Castlevania Aria of Sorrow (GBA). The story here is that a Villian named Magister has appeared and is tryign to ressurect a dead Shaman King so he can destroy the Shamans. As Yoh Asakura you travel around the country tryng to ... Read More Rating: - Fantastic! ^_^I'm generally more of a Yu-Gi-Oh fan, but this game... is addicting. Not only did I buy it on sight when I found out about it, it actually took over my obsession with trying to beat YGO: Reshef Of Destruction. Trust me, that was extremely hard to do. It's very challenging (for me, at least. I'm still fairly new to playing video games) since there are so many different people and creatures to fight, and the traps are always a rude awakening if you haven't already been there and died. ^_^() Basically, it's all a trial-and-error thing, seeing what works best in that ...
