All in all this has proven to be a very good mouse with no complaints other than the issue above. Rating: - Great mouse!Great performance! Works on surfaces where other optical mouses can't. I think it's very close to laser quality on this aspect. A little bit bigger than a regular sized mouse. Very comfortable grip and handle. Easy access to roller and buttons (including side buttons). Rating: - Superb mouseHave had this mouse for about 2-3 years now... some of the spaces between the blue area and the side of the mouse have got gunk in them and some of the logitech label has worn off, but it is functionally perfect. The shape is very ergonomic and comfortable and it has the basic buttons plus a few. The software isn't the greatest (like most bundled driver software) - I use USB overdrive instead, since I'm on a mac. Overall it has been a great and dependable mouse.
